New Leadership Team Unveiled, Infusing Development Momentum

The election of a new leadership body was the core agenda. The Assembly elected:

Mr. Wu Qiyao as Director-General of the Fourth Committee.

Appointment of Chief Consultant to Chart Development Strategy

Director-General Wu Qiyao announced the appointment of respected industry expert Ms. Tan Qi as Chief Consultant to the Fourth Committee. This appointment underscores the Chapter’s commitment to harnessing industry wisdom and experience for high-level strategic guidance. Chief Consultant Tan Qi subsequently delivered remarks.

Building Consensus, Shaping the Industry Future

Following the elections, committee members actively engaged in lively discussions and provided constructive suggestions on the Chapter's priorities and the opportunities and challenges facing the shiitake industry, demonstrating strong confidence in its future prospects.

Charting the Course to Serve National Strategies

Mr. Gao Maolin, President of the China Edible Fungus Association, delivered the closing remarks. He commended the achievements of the Third Committee and extended warm congratulations to the newly elected Fourth Committee. President Gao emphasized the vital role of the shiitake industry in rural revitalization and building China into an agricultural powerhouse.
